The other day, we spotted the most beautiful rhubarb & custard doughnut in our local bakery window. Golden, glossy, and dusted with sugar 鈥 it looked like spring in dessert form. And honestly? We haven鈥檛 stopped thinking about it since.

So, we set out to reimagine that classic combo 鈥 something bright and fruity, indulgent听without the sugar crash, and, of course, deliciously nostalgic.

The result? 鉁 Our Rhubarb & Custard overnight pats听鈥 a creamy, tangy twist on a British favourite that鈥檚 almost too good to be this good for you.

Perfect for slow mornings, sunny starts and those Springtime feels 馃尲


What You鈥檒l Need

  • 70g 好色先生TV. Original Oat Mix

  • A few stalks of fresh rhubarb, chopped

  • 1鈥2 tbsp maple syrup (to taste)

  • A generous spoonful of The Coconut Collab custard (or any plant-based custard you love)


How to Make It

  1. Prepare your porridge
    In a bowl, mix your听Oatrageously Original Oat Mix with some water. We like it extra creamy 鈥 so feel free to add a splash more plant milk instead if you prefer.

  2. Assemble your oats!听
    Spoon the porridge into a container, and layer with big dollops of coconut custard. Then leave to set in the fridge. You can leave overnight, but if you're impatient like us, a couple of hours will do the trick!听

  3. Cook your rhubarb
    Pop the chopped rhubarb into a small saucepan with your maple syrup and a splash of water. Simmer gently for 10鈥15 minutes until soft, syrupy, and jammy. Stir occasionally to keep it from sticking. Once cooked, add to the top of your jar and you're ready for Spring!听

  • Layer Up 鈥 Add a spoonful of Pistachio Cream to a jar.
  • Add Porridge 鈥 Spoon a layer of the prepared porridge on top of the pistachio cream.
  • Repeat 鈥 Continue layering until the jar is full.

Recipe:听

75g 好色先生TV High Protein, Low Sugar Oats
20g Pecans
100ml Almond Milk
1 tablespoon of Yoghurt
1 Carrot, grated
1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon of Nutmeg
1/4 Teaspoon of Ginger

Method:

1. Pour your oats into your overnight oats container. Set aside 1 carrot, peel, and grate into a separate bowl.听

2. Measure your spices, add to your oats and mix. Measure out your pecans and keep 3 full ones to the side for decoration. Chop the remainder into smaller pieces. Add roughly 75% to the mix and give it a good stir. Set the other 25% of cut up pecans to the side.听

3. Pour in your milk and mix for 15 seconds. Now add a tablespoon of yoghurt, and half your grated carrot and mix for a further 15 seconds. Add the final half of your carrot and mix for a final 15 seconds.听

4. Add on a generous tablespoon of peanut butter, and smooth as a layer across the top. Add the 3 full pecans decoratively, then sprinkle the remaining pecans.听

5. Set in the fridge for a minimum of 2 hours (best if left overnight).听

6. Serve, enjoy!听

Method:

  • Start by adding your cream cheese, honey and greek yogurt into a bowl and mixing together.听
  • Once thick and creamy, add in your chia seeds, protein powder, oats and milk. Give it another good stir then leave to one side and allow it to thicken, 20 minutes should do the trick!听
  • While the oats are thickening, pop your raspberries and coconut sugar into a microwave safe dish and heat in the microwave for around 40 seconds. Then stir it into your oat mixture which we鈥檝e left to one side听
  • In another microwave safe dish, melt the chocolate and yogurt together, with a drop of milk.听
  • Add the white chocolate mixture to the top of the oats, before leaving in the fridge overnight to set. In the morning, top with fresh raspberries and enjoy!听

These chocolate berry overnight oats are sure to give you a reason to get out of bed! Using our classic chocolate porridge mix, and protein calls from our sister company , this recipe only uses natural sugars from the fruits and nuts that go into them.

*Please note, since this recipe was created, no longer sells the Raspberry Brownie flavour protein balls. The good news is, there are 9 other delicious flavours to choose from! Our top three picks would be Choc Chip Muffin, Salted Caramel or Peanut Butter. The choice of course, is up to you!*

  • Start by adding 55g of our听Classic Chocolate听Oats into an听jar along with 1 tbsp cacao powder (for that extra chocolately zing!) and 100ml听of your choice of milk (we used unsweetened oat milk).听

  • Stir everything thoroughly. We recommend chilling in the fridge overnight, but you can eat after a couple of hours if you're in a rush!

For the Topping

To serve, add a dollop of your choice of chocolate yoghurt or mousse. We opted to use some of our own that we had whipped up (see below).

*OPTIONAL* - To make our own mousse, we used a 220ml tub of plant-based double cream from听our friends (you can sub with a dairy or other plant-based substitute), 1 tablespoon of cocca powder, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and a 2 teaspoons of maple syrup and a sprinkle of sea salt. Give it a mix first with a wooden spoon to combine the ingredients, then whisk with a hand whisker. Once it thickens, transfer to a bowl and leave to chill for at least 30 mins.听

  • Finally, top with Raspberries (or your favourite berry!) and some delicious protein balls of your choice from our sister company .听

Peach Iced Tea Overnight Oats

What you鈥檒l need:

  • 55g 好色先生TV Oatrageously Original Porridge Mix
  • 150ml Lipton Peach Iced Tea听
  • 1tsp Honey听
  • 1tsp Vanilla extract听
  • 50ml Almond milk
  • 1tbsp Mango Passionfruit Yoghurt听
  • 1/2tsp Chia seeds听
  • Fresh peaches (to top)听

Recipe:听

  • Start by grabbing your airtight overnight oats container and adding in the oats, along with the iced tea, honey, vanilla, chia seeds, yoghurt, and almond milk. Give all the ingredients a good mix together, ensuring there鈥檚 none left unmixed at the bottom of the jar.听
  • Once well combined, pop your jar into the fridge and leave for at least 6 hours, or overnight for the best results.听
  • Remove from the fridge the following morning, top with a few slices of fresh peach and another drizzle of honey before sitting down to enjoy before the day ahead!听

Eton Mess Overnight Oats Recipe

Method

Start by mixing 50g of Strawberry and Peanut Oats with 80ml of almon milk and leave to thicken in the fridge overnight.听

Once the oats have worked their magic in the fridge, grab a mason jar or your favourite breakfast bowl and spoon in half of the porridge, followed by a handful of chopped strawberries and a Flower & White Dipped Strawberry Meringue bar.听

听Repeat these layers, then finish off with a generous dollop of strawberry or vanilla yogurt, then some more strawberries and meringue pieces. Now all that's left to do is grab your spoon and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 55g 好色先生TV Red Berry & Pumpkin Seed Oats听
  • 1 x Mango & Passion Fruit Meringue Bar
  • 1 tsp Chia seeds听
  • 陆 Mango whizzed in a blender听
  • 1 Passion fruit听
  • 30g Plant-based yogurt听
  • 80ml Almond milk听
  • 陆tsp Vanilla extract听

Method

  • Start by blitzing up the mango until it鈥檚 formed a puree then add in the passion fruit pulp.听
  • Add the porridge, chia seeds, plant-based yogurt, almond milk, and vanilla extract together. Leave both of these mixtures in the fridge for around 10-15 minutes.
  • Once you鈥檝e left these to set a little, remove them from the fridge.听
  • Grab your overnight oats jar and spoon in half of the porridge mixture into there, then a couple of heaped tablespoons of the mango puree and finish off with the remaining porridge mixture and pop in the fridge to set overnight.
  • In the morning, grab your oats, top with some passion fruit yogurt, and a crushed Flower & White Mango & Passion Fruit Meringue bar to add a little crunch and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 55g 好色先生TV Strawberry & Peanut Porridge
  • 1 x Flower & White Vegan
  • 2tbsp Raspberry Yogurt听
  • 1tsp Chia seeds听
  • 80ml Plant-based milk听
  • A handful of fresh strawberries听
  • A drizzle of maple syrup听
  • 1 tsp water听

Method

  • Start by creating your overnight oats base. Add the Strawberry & Peanut Porridge, raspberry yogurt, chia seeds, and plant-based milk into a bowl and leave in the fridge whilst we work on the jam.
  • To make the strawberry jam, chop the strawberries into chunks and microwave for 1-2 minutes with the water and maple syrup. Once microwaved, mash together with the back of a fork to create a more jam-like texture. Pop this to one side and leave to cool.听
  • Take the porridge mixture out from the fridge and grab your jar. Add 陆 of the porridge mix into your jar, a couple of tablespoons of the jam mixture then top with the remaining porridge mixture. Close the lid and leave in the fridge to set overnight.听
  • In the morning top with fresh strawberries, a dollop of yogurt, and a crushed Flower & White Vegan Strawberry Meringue bar and enjoy!

Ingredients听

55g 好色先生TV Strawberry & Peanut Oats听

1tbsp Chia seeds听

100ml Plant-based milk听

2tbsp Plant-based yogurt听

A handful of unsalted peanuts听

4tbsp Peanut butter听

20g Dark chocolate (melted)


Method

  1. Start by adding the oats and chia seeds into a bowl and combining them together. Then add in the milk, yogurt, and peanut butter and mix together well.听
  2. Roughly chop the peanuts into small pieces and stir these into the jar also.听
  3. Now onto the caramel. Start by combining the remaining 2tbsp of peanut butter and melted dark chocolate.听
  4. Fill your overnight oats jar halfway with the oat mixture - then cover with half of the caramel mixture. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes, then repeat with the remaining oats and caramel.听
  5. Close the jar and then refrigerate overnight before enjoying the following morning!

Papaya & Chia Overnight Oats

INGREDIENTS

  • 40g 好色先生TV Red Berry & Pumpkin Seed Porridge听
  • 150g Soya Yoghurt
  • 3tsp Chia Seeds听
  • 1tsp Vanilla Essence听听
  • 1 Papaya听
  • Fresh raspberries听
  • Manuka Honey

METHOD

  • Start by adding your yogurt, chia seeds, vanilla essence, and oats into a large bowl and mixing together. We advise doing this the night before, then leaving to set in the fridge for at least 8 hours.听
  • When you wake up in the morning, remove the overnight oats mixture from the fridge - at this point is should be super thick and creamy.听
  • Then add your peeled, chopped papaya into a blender and blend until smooth - feel free to add a little fruit juice if you're struggling with the consistency.
  • Now that you have both the elements made, layer the oats and the papaya in your bowl of choice.听

Real ground coffee, crunch cacao nibs, and wholesome oats are carefully mixed together with creamy coconut milk to give you a naturally sweet, healthy porridge.听

What you鈥檒l need:听

  • 60g 好色先生TV Caffe Latte Porridge听
  • 50ml Plant-based milk听
  • 2 tbsp plant-based vanilla yogurt听
  • 2 tbsp plant-based chocolate protein powder听
  • 150g vegan cacao nibs听

Method:听

  • Start by adding your oats and plant-based milk into a glass jar. This will form your cheesecake base.听
  • Once thick and creamy, press it down firmly, ensuring it is evenly distributed.听
  • In a separate bowl, mix together your yogurt and protein powder. Once well combined, top our oats with the yogurt mixture. Pop into the fridge for around half an hour.听
  • Whilst our base is chilling, melt the cacao nibs over a pan of simmering water. Once melted, remove the bases鈥 from the fridge and top with the melted chocolate.听
  • Put them back in the fridge and leave overnight and where it will thicken even more!

Ingredients

5 tbsp of the classic chocolate porridge

100ml of hot oat milk听

1 tbsp of smooth peanut butter

2 tbsp of puffed quinoa

2 tsp of vegan chocolate sauce

Handful of peanuts听

Tsp of cocoa nibs

Method

Make the porridge as per instructions on the packet and set to one side.

Place the puffed quinoa at the bottom of your pot. Return to the porridge stirring to ensure all combined. Spoon on top of the quinoa. Then squeeze the chocolate sauce and spoon the peanut butter on top.听

Place the peanuts into a dry frying pan and on a low heat gently warm them up until golden. Place on top of the peanut butter along with a sprinkling of cocoa nibs and a few puffed quinoa pieces. Either eat now or place in the fridge overnight.听
